    Annandale School Council

School councils are valued by the TVDSB for their representative role of the school community. Their collaborative, consultative and advisory role plays a significant part in supporting the operation of our schools. Their purpose is to work in an advisory capacity with school administration to improve student achievement, well-being and belonging, and enhance the accountability of the education system to caregivers/guardians. To this end, school council meetings are open to the public.

Annandale School Council has a sub-committee, the PTA, which is the fundraising committee of the school council.

School Council’s must meet a minimum of four times a year, which is what Annandale School Council currently does. The PTA meets more often, typically monthly.
